Any fans of NHRA here at the Links???
I'm planning on goin' this weekend to the Schuck's Auto Supply NHRA Nationals at Pacific Raceways outside of Seattle...
My brother and Dad go every year but I have never been up there...
I'm headin' up there with my buddy, BC, who has actually has had offers to work with a team or two years ago...
The cool thing is all the tickets include pit passes... I bitch and moan about Nascar and the money pit it has become... It's nice to see the NHRA not getting too big, too quickly...Jet City Super Stealth

I go to the Spring Nationals @ Houston Raceway Park on occasion.
I missed this year though.
My buddy John (came to TLWII) has never been and we went to a 1/8th mile track and watched Pro-Mods run last weekend. He was putting his fingers in his ears and commenting on how loud they are. I told him there's no way I will miss his first funny car run.
I tried to explain the violent shaking that your body endures, but he still doesn't understand the extent."Here's to swimmin' with bow legged women."

The best man from my wedding has a brother who works on the Brut car. I was asked if I wanted to go to the race here in Sonoma, but won't be able to make it. I've been to a few races in the past. I went to Englishtown about three years ago and have been to Pomona a few times over the years when I was growing up (I lived not too far away from there). Too bad I can't make it to Sonoma though.

I will be at the races this weekend at PIR in Seattle. I am not sure what days I will attend, most likely Friday and part of Saturday. We do some work for PIR, each year they send us passes for the NHRA event. If you have not witnessed a top fuel dragster in person I suggest it to everyone. You not only see and hear the dragster you FEEL it as it goes by, its truly amazing. My Dad and his buddys are at the drags almost each weekend.
Yes Ashley Force is HOT!!!!!!
Did anyone see the new A&E show - Driving Force? Its a reality show about John and his daughters. After watching an hour of it last night I have come to the conclusion that John Force is totally Nuts. He has no idea how to interact with his daughters, I found myself laughing my ass off all throughout the show. His wife said she loves him but doesn't like him, he has not lived at home for 7 years.((Just My Two Cents))
And thats about what its worth.

I was telling a lady friend about Force family TV show earlier today and suggested she watch it. She just called me up after seeing it, the first thing she said was "Momma Force is sporting some MAJOR FAKE TITTIES"!!!
I turned on the TV and I am ashamed to say that I honeslty did not notice when I first wtached the show - I feel so much shame.
Pics of Ashley.

Hey dodge,
Thanks for starting this thread and I'm glad you had a good time at the race. Gotta love the NHRA. I've been going to Maple Grove for 23 years. They started there in 85 and boy has the track and the sport changed but not the cars or the drivers. By September the temps are cooler and they make alot of horsepower. Plus the Grove is probably the only track that has the stands right on top of the starting line. We go on Saturday and have a blast. You know what I'm talking about . The best time we had was when they had Playboy bunnies there on behalf of Panasonic. They were hot and very, very friendly. Ah, to be Hef for one day. It's amazing that two vehicles produce over 16,000 horsepower. It's also great when you take a first timer and watch ther expression when they go by at over 300 M.P.H. My wife laughs cause I get all wound up. It's the one day when I fell 18 years old again.

There were a lot of "hottie reps" around like the Hawaiian Tropic Girls, the Brut Racing Girls, etc...
BTW, there is some seats behind the Start/Burnout area off to the side a bit... I'm thinking about getting those seats next year. Is that close enough to on top of the starting line? I need a bit more clarification...Jet City Super Stealth

I got mine at the top, "Row Z" of the grandstands on the starting line. You can stand up and lean on the fence. Got a great view of the staging lane and get to watch them go all the way down the track with no obstructed view. Plus, I have obtained some real nice photos over the years from these seats.
