Hey everyone. I just thought that I would update you on things from the front. 77 more days, until I am back on American soil!!!! Believe me, I can't wait!!! There's not nearly enough Van Halen here in the desert. But, in spite of that I am doing well, trying my best to maintain my sanity here. I am submitting a packet this month for promtion. I am currently a Sergeant and I am trying to make Staff Sergeant, before I go home. Wish me luck. Things have been fairly quiet here, in spite of what the media may say. They blow everything WAY out of proportion. I am on a logistics base, and fortunately it's one of the more secure locations. We do get mortared from time to time, but not nearly as much as the place that I was at in 2004. Yes, that's right, I missed the reunion tour, because I was deployed, and now I am deployed again and missing Sammy's tour and Dave's tour. Hence the reason I am going through massive Van Halen withdrawals. Anyway, I just thought I would bring you all up to speed on things here. I'm still kickin, and moderately sane, at least by Army standards. They seem to think that I am perfectly normal. They don't know me too well. That's all for now. Take care everyone.

I'm not completely without. I have my computer here, which has quite a bit, but I am always looking for more. The main frustration is missing the concert tours, by being here.

Thanks. By the way, I just got your disk in the mail. Thank you again. I really appreciate it. And thank you to everyone, for all the support. We don't hear that nearly often enough. My own hometown doesn't care about the soldiers over here. So no yellow ribbons for me, but it's all good. I believe in what we're doing, and that's enough for me. Thank you again, everyone.
