How many artists has Ray D. managed over the years? I know he's done Van Halen, Extreme, Rush and King's X. Anybody know of any other artist he's worked with/destroyed?

Not that I am aware of, but I would assume the road is littered with the bloated carcasses of bands that Mr. Danniels has managed.

I know his time with both King's X and Extreme were pretty short. I think with King's X he might have only been with then for the "Ear Candy" album but I might be wrong. I'll have to check some of their liner notes.

He also used to manage Queensryche, but I heard that he was fired from them last summer.

I don't think there's any proof that RD ever did anything wrong to Rush.
He kind of built that band's career from the start and made them quite succesful.
I've never heard anything which would contradict that.Little Dreamer

I was incorrect about Ray's association with King's X. He Was with them for two albums Dogman and Ear Candy. Does anyone know when Van Halen dumped him?"Right Now.....Mike is thinking about a solo project."<br /><br />"Victory has a thousand fathers. Defeat is an orphan."

I wouldnt be suprised if Daniels still has a legal hold on VH and maybe this is the reason for the ongoing silence...

He managed the band 'Talk Show'.
For those that don't know, this was Stone Temple Pilots with a different singer, Dave Coutts. Weiland put out 12 Bar Blues, and the rest of the band had been stockpiling material for when the inevitable happened--Scott went to rehab or jail for a long time.
Anyways, Howard Stern made a comment once on his show when STP were the guests after No. 4 came out. It was about how Ray Daniels just wanted to take great bands and put shitty singers in after he found out Talk Show was also managed by Ray Daniels.
Of course, I don't think either singer (Dave Coutts or Gary Cherone) is shitty by a long shot, but they just weren't good fits in their respective new bands.
