This is What Eddie should be doing
Check the link out. Definately EVH inspired. This is the kind of think I expected to see Ed doing at this point of his carreer instead of what he's doing now (ha ha, Right now...We really don't know what Ed is doing). This is really incredible, I'd love to see Ed doing his thing solo just like this if he ain't going to keep the VH thing going.

it is very cool..... this guy seems very talented.....a bit gimicky though.
Eddie did do something similar on the 1984 tour when he had a little stand built so he could prop up his guitar and play it like a piano.

Have you ever heard of Micheal Hedges? He plays stuff like that. That was very cool though.

Incredible....and rather than just a bullshit notes, it was a nice little tune.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

Wow
That was exceptional. Not just chops either.
"With me in the band, it's one of those miraculous 97-97 deals. It's 97 percent you and 97 percent moi. Is it Mick or Keith? I don't know" -DLR
"We eventually started playing clubs, and we also did weddings. We played everything from the Ohio Players to K.C. & the Sunshine Band. You would love the sight of Van Halen doing 'Get Down Tonight'! But by the third set when everybody was good and tanked up--boy, we'd be blazin'!" -Michael Anthony

That was awesome! If that dude has a CD, I would buy it in a second! Definatley a different way of playing the guitar...even if eddie did something similar on the 84 tour.

That was fuckin' great! I don't know who this guy is, but if he's got a CD I'm buyin' it.
Damn right thats what EVH should be doin' - how amazing a solo would that be, Ed laying an acoustic on his lap and tapping like only Ed knows how. THAT would be some cool shit to see.

That was GREAT
Eddie SHOULD do this...
Maybe when VH is dead for good he will.
He should do like Pat Metheny and surround himself with a bunch of different guitars for different vibes and sounds and just play jazz, rock, classical, and whacked out music for a smaller but sold out audience. No singers. And maybe Alex and a bassist.

Enjoyed Ed will now have to do it on a 12 string.
