There are 3 glaring omissions in my history: The Police, Aerosmith, and U2. Without a doubt, hands down, my biggest regret in concert going wherewithal was missing the Police. I'd easily choose a Police reunion over a Roth reunion, only 'cause I caught enough Roth era Halen to be satisfied. But getting Stewart and Sting to reconcile is much more problematic than Dave and Ed, methinks.
And I don't remember probably 3/4 of the opening bands...9 times out of 10, we'd tailgate through the opening acts in my youth...exceptions would be GnR opening for the Stones, which of course we had to see, and AIC for VH on the FUCK tour (our audience did not treat them well, alas).
As an aside, overlooked frequently by the legend of '83 Us Fest was its precursor, the '82 Us Fest, which I would've loved to attend. I was too young to drive of course and not really experienced in concert ambience as of yet (I'd been to only one concert, the year before, my first, Van Halen of course) and if I recall right I didn't even know it was happening at the time. But what a roster: The Ramones, Boingo, The B-52's, The Talking Heads, The Police, Santana, The Cars, Pat Benatar, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, The Kinks, and others.

On Feb. 12, 1981 Rush released Moving Pictures - their most advanced album at the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auLBLk4ibAk I always wondered why the little girls on the cover were so...
