7 explosions hit India trains; 15 reportedly dead

MUMBAI, India - Seven explosions hit Mumbai’s commuter rail network during rush hour Tuesday evening, ripping apart train compartments and reportedly injuring dozens of people, officials and Indian media said.

The local CNN-IBN news channel said at least 15 people were killed in one of the blasts at Matunga station in central Mumbai.

“The blasts happened when the trains were most crowded,” D.K Shankaran, chief secretary of the state of Maharashtra, of which Mumbai is the capital said. “Ten to 15 people have been injured.”

Indian television news channels broadcast video of the wounded sprawled on train tracks and being carried through stations.

India’s financial center of Mumbai and the capital of New Delhi were reportedly on high alert.

I'm tempted to say "fuck it, let India deal with it" as I'm tired of us getting dragged in on all this shit only to have people turn around and start kicking us for being a bully, but I don't know how much India has helped (or tried to help) in the war on terror, so I'll reserve judgement. You're absolutely right there. We've all developed gallows humour about all the atrocities being committed aroundthe world by ALL countries. It's almost like we're just waiting for someone to totally snap.
India and Pakistan is a British problem, we should be doing our utmost to sort out that mess. Do we? Ha.
I've been doing a lot of reading up on the history of colonialism in recent days. Obviously Britain and France being the biggest fuckwits from the last 2 centuries. America's first stab didn't really kick in until deposing the Iranian leader in '53 (?). Since then of course it's been UK/USA the whole way just running around taking what we want. As much as I hate what the Muslim extremists have been doing it truly is no worse than what we have been and continue to do. That makes me ashamed. I never asked to be on the wrong side. Now we are getting payback. Innocents from all sides are being punished for the idiocy and greed of the very few.
Specifically on the Indian issue, this is much less to do with Islam vs Christian vs Oil vs whatever the fuck they want....than just plain old fashioned,
"Get off my fucking land".
