News on the "7. April release date" rumor

Hi folks,
anybody remember the "new VH album due to release on 7. April 03" topic some weeks ago?
I contacted the responsible man from that site and asked him for some infos on that.
He said he has no clue about that and he gave me the email of his source. I contacted that person and here is his response:

Hallo Matthias,

ich muss gestehen, dass dieser Vö-Termin ein Relikt aus besseren Van Halen
Tagen ist, als man sich gerade um einen neuen Sänger bemühte und die
Plattenfirma deshalb mutig einen VÖ-Termin gesetzt hatte. Dass es danach zur
Zeit überhaupt nicht aussieht, haben wir alle durch die Presse erfahren. Aus
diesem Grund werde ich die Van Halen Daten erst mal löschen. Tut mir Leid,
dass ich keine besseren Infos habe.

And if there are some people around who don´t speak german i try to make a rough translation:

"I must confess that this release date is a leftover from better days when they tried to hire a singer and the record company just set some bold date. We now know that it doesn´t look like this right now in the VH camp. That´s why i´m gonna delete these dates now."

Not that it´s a big surprise, but i thought i´ll pass this along, since some (including me) hoped that these dates will probably mean the release of the box set that keeps being mentioned.
