Yeah, "stress" got to him.

Just like it got to his former employee Cliff Baxter who "committed suicide" soon after the Enron mess broke.

Just like it got to Salem Bin Laden, Osama's older brother who financed Chimpy's first oil company, Arbusto energy. "Stress" made him fly his own airplane into some high voltage power lines

Doing business with the Bush Criminal Empire can be very "stressful"

Yeah I am not exactly saddened at his death... He screwed a lot of people, and NOT in a good Gene Simmons Polaroid Collection kind of way.
I hope the families that lost so much will still get back something.

Suicide was probably not too distant from his thoughts though...
May he rot in hell. CYA!

I don't know about easier, but I definitely think karma caught up with the SOB. I just hope he was in an incredible amount of pain before he went.

You know sometimes you have to wonder if the big guy upstairs is the ulitimate form of justice. This guy screwed over so many in his own company ,destroyed retirements of thousands and was the pal of presidents ,congressmen, and senators. I hope that his death sends a signal to those who would use power to corrupt.

I figured he'd argue that Lay wasn't really dead and "chimpy" got him a witness protection like cloak somehow. .... like the real planes that were supposedly the twin tower planes actually got re-routed to Canada. mmm hmm.

Alright, I'll play; He faked his death and is retiring to the Cayman Islands.
BTW, If God was interested in giving Lay what he desereved, I'm sure he
would've let him languish in prison before handing him a EE ticket to Hellville.
