Maybe theres hope yet

Went looking for some music in a local store here in the Northwest called Hastings earlier today...as soon as I walked in I could hear over the stores sound system some very familiar but yet strange music. It was VH , but there were banjos and fiddles playing it....I immediately thought , hey strummin with the devil is here...I went looking for it ....but after searching the stores database found it was out of stock....thinking maybe there was an error I went looking for it...was about to give up and saw a sales clerk...a kid maybe 19 or 20 years old....he tells me no...not in stock, and its back ordered, they had an initial shipment of 40 sold out already....and he himself grabbed the last one and puts it in the store cd player everytime he works...Says he loves VH , all eras . So it seems there could be a continuing fan base out there....If Eddie would get himself together and release some new music....

I'm 19 and I love all 3 eras of VH. As long as EVH is involved, I'm there.

Speaking of which, has anybody heard of the song The Water Sings by Rich Wyman and EVH? It kicks ass.

Yeah, I like that song. I've had that CD for years now, and it's cool hearing Ed on a few songs with another artist.

Is that off of Fatherless Child. I've often asked on these boards if someone owns it and I've never gotten a response. I don't own it, but would like to.

From what I hear, I don't think country music has ever been more popular than it is right now. As always, I give Dave credit for jumping in and doing something different. I hope it works out, and I'm glad to hear it's popular with younger fans, but I'd honestly rather hear Dave do another straight-on rock album like DLR Band. I still love that album, even though the production is a little weak...that gave it a garage band feel, to me.
