Search feature on the fritz?

Not that I have much faith in the forum search feature as it is, but it seems like it's not even picking up some basic stuff, at least in the Music forum - i.e, searching for "Pearl" did not find the "Pearl Jam" thread...

We tried getting the database together for the search the other night but it just slowed the server down to the point were the site was useless. It would take shutting the site down for a 12/24 hour period to get search running again. We'll give it another stab soon.

I am in the process of running the search index again, I keep forgetting to let it go all night. I will tonight, we have so many posts, it takes a long time to index them all, like 10-12 hours.

Believe it or not, the failure of the search function led me to starting two new threads regarding tv appearances, one for Robert Plant and one for Pearl Jam.
