With all this stuff going on the past few days I've wanted to post, but I just didn't know what to say.

I guess the first thing I'd like to say is thank you Brett for all the time, effort, and lets not forget money you've put into maintaining this site. If you decide to pull the plug I wouldn't blame you a bit. If I were you it wouldn't even be a decision. I'd shut her down.

Next, I'd like to thank all of the people here for taking me into your home so to speak. I haven't been around here that long, but I consider this place my home on the Internet.

Lastly, I'd just have to comment on my feelings towards this former band. I can sum it all up in one little icon: [img]graemlins/wtf.gif[/img] I've never cared much for Edward Van Halen after what he pulled in 1996, but now I almost hate him. It's not enough that he closed up shop without a word to his fans, but now this? Now he's going to close down the fan sites too? And you know what? I bet that is exactly what he's trying to do. He closed down the dome because of the fan backlash, and now he's figured out how to close this place down as well.

I hope you're happy Eddie. You've managed to become the ultimate asshole. Thanks for completely destroying everything good associated with the name Van Halen.

I know I don't post often. When I first read what happened yesterday I was shocked and with the turn of events that happened I was very disappointed in the band that I grew up with. At one time anything that came out from Van Halen was gold. Now with the events that happened yesterday all faith and trust are pretty much gone. I understand about the copyrights and trademarks what I don't understand is why go after the people who made you and enjoy your music. After three years of not giving us any news we are still loyal fans and defend you and your actions. After this week I feel I can no longer do that. I thank you for your music. I guess today is the day the music died for me.
