I just got a songbook with photos from 1978 and whoa! Micheal Anthony although still a youngin', was damn near bald!, but around Women and Children First, he seemed to have gotten a more up there and it has stayed that way since. Anyone noticed this? Also, around the time as the F.U.C.K. album, Alex was so thin on top you could see his scalp, but now its gone. Just wondered if anyone noticed this stuff. Not important stuff, since Van halen is not much of a band that relied on looks like say Poison or someone, but just one of those things that make you go hmm. Anyone else notice?

Let me teel ya all a little story about hair growing the natural way....Ed en Al already know the secret of natural hair growing because they are orginal from the netherlands, so when the notice that Mikey got a little bald overthere, they gave him a airplain ticket so he can go to the netherlands to let his hair grow back the natural way. This is what the medicine was...Walk By a Cow, call he and let him lick your baldy head for 10 minutes or so, make damn sure it's a dutch cow, otherwise it won't help you a bit......then after a week or two your hair starts growing again, and much stronger than before.

So there is your explanation of the baldy period of Mikey back in the late 70 and early 80.

You know what...I don't give a shit if someone has plugs. Personally - I would rather shave my noggin than have a transplant (I think it would be easier to be bald). However - if it makes you feel good and it doesn't look like shit - sure, get some plugs! But - make a choice about it.

Dave (IMHO) needs some plugs - cause he looked kick ass around the 1984 time - and I can't see him shaving it off.

Mike Anthony - - never really noticed - but sure get some.

I think Al and Ed are the only ones that could pull off shaving the head and carrying it. Personally I thought Ed looked his best around the Balance time.

But regardless of what they do with their hair....just keep rockin and rollin boys.
