why no official vh vid w/ dlr ?

considering dave was the greatest frontman in the hsitory of the galaxy...ahem.. why was an official video never released of him in his prime ??

after watching a bootleg of the us festival , maybe i shouldn't bother asking...

if he was that stoned then - no wonder he's now a full-time space cadet.!

I don't think that show was indicative of Dave's prowess on stage. At that point I think he (& the rest of the band) were on their "It's good to be the king" kick for getting a cool mil for doing that show. I've heard other boots where he's not slurring his ass off, and they sound great (as does the US Fest show).

I think that although the VH powers that be realize a Roth-era vid would sell a shitload, they don't want to give the public any more gasoline for that reunion fire that's burning and have the next material they release have anything to do with Dave.

All this even though all signs point to a "Best of Vol II" with a few new Dave songs to "spice up the record".....
