More Proof of VH's Lack of respect for the fans

No "best wishes" for Christmas or anything of the sort. Real nice. Real classy.

I hope the two remaining members of VH (die hards debate me as much as you want on that one) are having a lot of fun driving around in their great cars, living in their nice pads, doing jack - take time and remember WHO bought them this stuff...the fans.

Not even a "best wishes during the holiday season. Un-fucking-believable.

Without trying to come across as a die hard, maybe with all that's happened to Ed in the last year he might just want to stay completely out of the light and keep the holiday personal and low key.
He's been hounded pretty relentlessly over the last year and I can't blame him for being quiet while he gets his life in order.
I still wish Ed, Al, and Mikey a great holday, and hope the coming year brings them good things.

I sent a email to the head mushroom errrrr....webmaster Brad stating the exact same sentiments...Mikey seems to be the only one that realizes were still here.Eddie and Alex I guess are too busy with there hectic schedule to actually care were here or not...

This isn't exactly ground breaking news if you've been following Van Halen's recent lack of activity over the past couple of years. I don't think their were any Christmas wishes on the site last year so why should this year be any different? We're not hearing squat until the band actually does something with regards to new music. VAN HALEN WHERE THE FUCK U AT?

While i do agree and think EVH has a lack of respect for his fans, i dont really expect him to send a christmas wish to all. Maybe if aunt edna and uncle jim were to send one thats ok, but i dont really expect wish.

I have to defend some of the complainers and bitchers and moaners though, i mean you guys are right, most those people will be in line to buy a new VH album because most of it just comes from frustrated fans that want to hear something from the band.

Freedom of Speech Folks.......They have every right and reason to bitch if they want. The only way VH will get back any semblance of it's old stature now is if they put out a great release....like 3 million sales plus. If you want to call that a successful release? These jokers AL and Ed probably didn't send a X-Mas Greeting because they either were:

1. Too drunk or high to remember the holiday.
2. Sober, but way too much effort would be
required to show the fans any ounce of
respect by sending a greeting.
3. Dumb shits who forgot to buy for anyone but
themselves for the holiday.
4. Feeling sorry for themselves because their
personal lives are so screwed up.

like you were really expecting them to say anything? if we've learned anytyhing by now, it's that they are going to give us information or say hello to us on their time and that's it.

it seems very clear to me that after everything that happened in '96 and after gary left, they are being quiet about what happens until something is definite and i can see why.

van halen fans might be great and loyal and all that shit, but a lot of em are fickle as well. i can see why they don't say anything

Dude, I have never stood in line at midnight to buy any fucking music. I don't care if they ever try to put out any new music. The best music from this band has already been cut. And if you believe otherwise, then you will be the one in line.
