Finally!!!

An admission that the album really is about to come out.

My point with this point is to point out that this is truly what we have been waiting for. I'd like to remind everyone that up until now there has been NO offical word from an actual band member that a new album and tour are in the planning stages.

Sure, there are going to be other big announcements, but this is the biggest; in actuality.

The speculation is over, Launch can just rot for saying it wasn't going to happen, and we can finally make plans to keep our calendars open in July,August, and September (or thereabouts).

No more stories about Eddie being really sick or Dave and Eddie fighting in the studio. Now they have made a public admission throgh Mike, and now they will be expected to back it up.

Let the celebration begin!!! These last two days have been the best VH days in the last 5 years, folks.

Nope...Not until I hear it from the Band or from another viable source such as WB or something like that. I agree it's exciting and all but damn....how many times have we been let down in the past? But I feel it's close though!!! Just not getting my hopes up. DAMN TOO LATE FOR THAT SHIT!!!!! BRING ON THE ALBUM GUYS!!!!!! VAN HALEN ROCKS!!!!

Dude, I'd say Michael Anthony is a pretty viable source considering he is part of the band. I think we'll hear something before this summer from them because basically the cat is out of the bag and now they are really going to be hounded by the media for a confirmation on who who the new singer is and a hard date for release of their new cd. I bet we hear something before the summer. Just a feeling I have. No inside scoop.

Yes, we will hear something before the summer.

Mike seems to suggest we'll know quite a bit more in the near future.

I wonder how he classifies "very soon."
