I think Let Sally Drive is a great tune!

It really rocks, it has a lot of nice changes in it and the lyrics to it are cool!

It's a good choice for Sammy's next single.

I read that Sammy is the one who came up with the great guitar riff. I think Sammy is improving on guitar all the time.

I also heard Sammy say that when he sings the chorus to the song actually hurts him to sing it.

He also sang that high on Dreams with VH.

I would say this song is like a Red Rocker version of Panama.

I love the song too. The "drink gas, full blown nitrous" part does nothing for me however. I hope those lyrics are at least close, I haven't listened to it in a couple of weeks, except for seeing Sammy sing it on Kilborn. I really like Sammys' guitarist, he's a cool player. I'd like to see him and Sammy tackle a more varied group of VH tunes for their live show.

I've only heard the song a handfull of times, but I agree. I dig the song. Along with some other goodies, THIS is one cd on my Christmas list.

That's a decent choice for another single, considering it's almost an exercise in futility with the lousy radio we have these days.

I think it would be a crock if Tropic of Capricorn never hit the radio

And yeah, Victor can smoke, especially for someone who is basically an unknown.

I agree with Broken Combs. Let Sally Drive rocks, but 3 In The Middle is the best song on Ten 13. I hope upcoming Sammy albums focus more on rock and don't include so many ballads.

Crossing Over, it's too bad you didn't get a chance to hear Let Sally Drive live. At the Portland show on November 27th, someone made a colorful banner with glitter that said Let Sally Drive and had a picture of someone in a car. Sammy said they should play that song because it was such a great banner. Anyway, when they played it the crowd really got into it! It was awesome!!

It is a good song. One of my favorites from the new album. Good call on the next single. Someone must of been listening. It's getting a lot of airplay here in Phoenix on 93.3 KDKB.

Well, consider yourself "uncrocked"

because I played Tropic of Capricorn yesterday during my show. We got hit w/snow and ice and I told my listeners to just close their eyes and imagine themselves in a tropical spread, courtesy of the Red Rocker.
