GNR is doing it, Van Halen?

Well it looks like its official! Guns and Roses management confirms issues surrounding their reunion. Looks like the tour is set for the summer of 2001. http://www.livedaily.com/news/2104.html

Can you imaging what will happen to the music industry if Van Halen is back for a summer 2001 tour as well!

Lets all thank GNR for giving us something to look foward to, and most of all hope. Real rock is coming back! Lets hope it comes back with the mighty VH!

I'm "interested" in seeing what Guns n Roses does, but I can't say that I'm excited at all. Axl alone is not GNR in my opinion, and without the other guys, the GNR name shouldn't be used. Just my opinion.

Now a VH reunion will blow GNR out of the water I would think. Because it's the real deal; four original members putting it all together, whereas with GnR it's only one original member.

Well, with all due respect...this is not a "reunion". As Glenn said Ax-hole alone is not G-n-R. And it seems that he is the only one left from the glory days. Except for Dizzy on keyboards, and he even came along after alot of success and line up changes. I'm not saying it won't be good, and I do like AX-HOLE's music...but its not a reunion.

I didn't realize that all of those guys were not getting back together. Just axl? Thats kind of a disapointment.

I'm looking forward to the newest incarnation of GnR. Have you guys heard Buckethead yet? He's a phenomenal guitar player and nothing at all like Slash. It's going to be a different band. Check out Bucket's Monsters & Robots CD.

Yes. Buckethead is a unique one. Personally I don't know how he's going to fit in G&R. He's got some whacked out stuff man...a great player that I like...but whacked out stuff...

I've got a passive interest in the new "Guns N' Roses" album coming, but I'm definitely going to have to hear it and be impressed first.

Oh My God was okay, but it most certainly wouldn't sell me an album.

Umm...A GNR reunion...even with Slash, Dizzy, Matt and Izzy, would not draw half the attention of a VH reunion.

Whatever GNR is doing now, will only draw attention for like 2 weeks, then people will realize how much Axl sucks without all the other talent, and no one will care anymroe.

I heard they are being managed by a guy nammed Mike Spadea. He is supposed to be Duff McKagan's brother-in-law. You have to have Duff Slash Matt and Gilby for Guns.

Gun's n Roses with only Axl is not Gun's n Roses. Drop the name Axl and just go solo.

By the way........Slash has a new Snakepit album out. Check it out.....it's Guns n Roses rock n roll without the asshole singer.
Pretty good album in my opinion.
