FUCKIN' INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
Dave flat out rocked the place!
He gets better every time I see him.
The setlist was alot like that from the Sam and Dave tour except he did a few more "solo Dave" songs like "Gigolo", "California Girls", and "Paradise".
The sound was perfect. The crowd was really into it, and Dave was... well, ... Dave!

If only he would do something about the Cryptkeeper hairdo. Seriously, Diamond Dave has such a stellar catalogue outside of VH. I'm glad that he's using it. EEAS, Skyscraper and YFLM were so great to see live. Now that Dave is in the class of "Oldies" rockers playing small venues. He should capitalize. I absolutely loved seeing him in a 2000 seat club in '94. He should do more of a setlist like this along with the staple VH Classics:

Do you follow? He is a rockin' bluesman singer, Dave has the goods. That dude has such a great solo catalogue. Utilize it Dave, utilize the band, the awesome axeman that is with you is incredible IMHO. This sounds good. I will definitely catch him next time around if the solo material is in the mix.

Oh yeah, Dave looked and sounded better than ever. He did deliver some of the familiar lines, but they weren't forced or cliche sounding. He said the right things at the right time. He had a real natural smile the whole show, and it looked like he was having a blast!! He also cut his hair a bit shorter. The band was a bit loose at first(first show in a long time!), but they tightened up, and Brian Young's playing really freaked some people out.

Screw the futile attempt to get back into VH and follow your destiny.

The WB network is working to put together a new, modern version of The Gong Show.

This is the PERFECT gig for Dave. It could be EPIC.
This is not sarcasm or b.s. If Dave could host the show and if the producers let Dave be Dave, man o man!!!

I hope SOMEHOW Dave or Dave's 'peeps' will read this!!! F American Idol.

It was actually IN Universal Studios. They have this Mardi Gras concert series going on where the headline concert takes place just after the Mardi Gras parade. So drinking a few beers, scoping out all the beautiful little babies, watching the parade, and then listening to Diamond Dave rip out some classic pedal to the metal rock n roll was a serious ass kicking time [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I have the hardcover VH Encyclopedia signed by: Sammy, Gary, Mike Mangini, Nuno, Pat Badger, Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, (tribute band) Diver Down, and would obviously Love to get Dave's autograph, I brought it to the Bumbershoot show, and 2 sam and dave's. Hopefully being a much smaller show in Verona.....
