Brown M&M's???

What does this mean? I got a VH Guitar Book over a year ago and it said somethin about brown M&M's in the history of the band. I also saw it on the VH Video Timeline thing as well. Am I missing the joke or what?

It used to be in the tour rider that brown m&m's weren't to be present backstage. If there were, VH would trash the place.

When Dave was in the band, one of their requirements on tour was that they wanted m&m's in the dressing room without any brown ones. One night, they found browns ones and totally trashed the backstage area. I'm not sure if this continued with SAmmy or Gary in the band.

Just to add, basically it was designed to assure that the contract was being read by the people in each city. The theory being, if they didn't notice this in the rider, chances are the weren't paying proper attention to it. It started on the WACF tour.
