What do you think they'll do a tour of, Stadiums or Arenas? I'm betting Arenas, Van Halen has always been in touch with their fans and I think there's slightly more intimacy there. Although, I think they'll do some club gigs first.

I would prefer an outside venue - Stadium, Amphitheatre, my backyard - whatever. But I'm sure if they announce the O-rena, I won't pass it up!

I'm with Mikey Metalhead. I would prefer more arenas. Better acoustics.

My vote (like it counts - lol) is for arena's also, better sound, intamacy, and god forbid it would rain and they would have to cancell a show - riot!!!

I've never been to an arena, so I'll pick arena, because I'm not impressed by the sound outside, but maybe all concerts sound distorted? I wouldn't know.

I have no doubt that this tour could easily sell out stadiums. The sound would be better at an arena, but I really want to see them at the Gorge! If they play there, they could sell it out 5 nights straight. The downside is that this would probably mean no tour till next summer, but it's looking that way anyhow. I do not see them touring in the winter.

I would much prefer an arena.
But, if this tour is going to be as "BIG" as we think it is, I would expect that they would do stadiums more so!
I hope little ole Dayton isn't neglected-otherwise I have to travel-I hate that, but I'd hate to miss their concert more!

My vote would be for arenas, but that's mostly because I know I'll end up with lousy seats, and lousy seats in an arena are still better than lousy seats in a stadium.

don't really care. as long as i get to go.
the arenas do sound like a better pick, but i would honestly think that it would be just as cool outside

I would prefer arenas too. I've been to different shows outside, and it seems like no matter where it is, the sound isn't that good. I wouldn't really care to see them in a stadium either, probably because I would be in nose bleed seats, and VH would look like ants on stage.

I think they'll tour arenas this winter and go on a rock festival stadium type tour next summer like Metallica.

Hey! What about a Metallica/VH stadium tour?

Or maybe Judas Priest will get Halford back and tour with VH next year? That would be a dream come true. The Ultimate Reunion Tour!
