Van Halen and the WB web site

How long is WBR going to keep the same old Van Halen 3 page on their site?

I know that there hasn't been anything new regarding news for them to put there. But Wouldn't you think that being the band's label that they would have a Van Halen page that covers everything?
I also looked in their news page and it still has the old news news about Madonna's AOL sponsored tour and nothing new.
You mean to tell me that all of WB's acts are doing nothing?
Who runs there site? Brad Starks?

I don't get it.

WB barely acknowledges VH is on their roster of acts, so what do you expect for a band that hasn't done a damn thing in 3 years, going on 4.

WB should remove the VH3 stuff from their site. What they should do is when the user licks on VAN HALEN it should bring them to a black screen with white letters that say, "No news is good news".

I think WB uses the band pages to market new product and since VH has no new product, WB probably doesn't want to spend the time or money to update the page. That's just my guess, but why else would they leave it as is for 3 years!?!?

WB abandoned the VDIII website when it became crystal clear that the feedback from the fans on the site was never going to be "positive" about the VDIII album, or the events of 1996.

But checking out that site is good for a laugh, a really painful one.

Another example of how our band continues to be shrouded in mystery. I am sure WB has no idea whats going on with the band either.

Since their web site isn't gonna generate any revenue let alone profit... I'm sure WB isn't going to spend the money to update it.

As is happening across the industry most businesses are not investing in web content unless it supports their business objectives.

Actually I am more surprised they even leave the VH portion up at all it's wasted space and not worth the cost of connectivity.
