The Sam and Dave show was Daves idea! Per Sammy

Sammy has said that Dave's people came to sammy after things didn't work out with the brothers Van halen. And asked if he was interested in touring with Dave. Sammy said he said he had been wanting to do it for 5 years. But was turned down by Dave 5 years ago. Sammy also said he didn't want to open for roth he wanted to headline but decided if they rotated who headlined that would be allright cause it was all just ego anyway. sammy also said Dave and him got along fine even though he thinks Dave is out there but they still like each other.

Yeah, I'm listening to that interview right now. Never heard that before about Dave turning down Sammy five years ago. Planet US might be playing a couple of songs at this California Awards show if Neil Schon's wife hasn't given birth yet. Man. I'm glad I don't have to listen to these annoying DJ's everyday. They are friggin idiots.
