Yes, I'm a fan of everything. I have a load of Van Halen, over 100 songs on my computer. Including rare tunes, unreleased stuff, club day tracks, tour songs, live covers, the works. But what seems to shock people, is that I like the Cherone Era as well. Now, outside of "Once", "Neworld", and "Year to the Day", I didn't like VH 3 that much. But I have 19 Live songs from 1998--Cherone doing Dance the Night Away/Feel your Love Tonight, Unchained, Right Now, Humans Being, Romeo Delight...it was actually pretty f*ckin' good live. Cherone wasn't bad, he was actually pretty damn good. I think he deserved a second crack with Van Halen, which makes me mad they didn't continue that.

A lot of people accuse Sammy of being cheese, hey, it's called singing with feeling. Yeah, we like parties, but when you're in a bad mood, or sad, or yeah, lovestruck, you can't very well turn on Unchained and expect to feel emotionally lifted. That's where the Sammy stuff comes in--not so much a party, as music with feeling. I love tunes like "Can't Stop Lovin' You", "When It's Love", "Dreams", "Right Now"...Sammy Hagar is underrated. I disagree with the notion that people who like him are cheese-sheep.

DLR of course, is the party-monger. He's just plain out fun to listen to.

But my point is...don't blast people for liking their stuff. I'm a fan of it all. I wish things were different. And I recommend you guys try downloading some of this good stuff:

    VH 3 Live, 1998:
    Romeo Delight
    Humans Being
Dance the Night Away/Feel your Love tonight(awesome frickin' riff)
    Year to the Day

    Van Hagar Live:
    Rock 'n Roll
    Wild Thing
    Summer Nights
    5150

And you all know the Roth Stuff. Try www.audiogalaxy.com, over 4500 Van Halen songs for download. I got so much rare stuff there.

Sir Wilfred Laurier was the Prime Minister of Canada in the early 20th century, and he once said "I am not British--I am Canadian, first, last, and always."

Well, I'm a Van Halen fan--first, last, and always.

in these days, after about 2 years of lissening to VHIII, I'm thinking that this album is very good not one of the best, but not bad and so bad as I thinked 4 years ago when I lissened to it for the first time.
I'm not interested in how it selled or will sell, or if VH fans are disapointed for this or that, here in italy there is so fiew VH fans and VH have not sold record since 1984 when only the song JUMP was a world hit.
VHIII sonds really VH, these are very good traks:

    dirty water dog
    from afar
    without you
    once
    ballet or the bullet
I don't remamber the fuking words
