Well we'll leave it and see what happens, seems to me comparisons like this are not terribly useful though, may as well compare spice girls to weird Al.

Untrue Ed... VD3 is no Van HALEN record and you know it! Van HALEN's last record is "1984" ... now however 1984 vs BNW is a much closer match!

I would rather listen to Eddie pissing in a bucket than listen to any Iron Maiden cd. That mystic might and magic rock is as generic as music got in the early 80's... Dio, Priest... how boring. In fact with Maiden around you have to wonder who is the spoof, Spinal Tap or Maiden?? Close call.

Despite its horrible production, lackluster songwriting, and poor vocal performance by Cherone (which I still don't understand considering a work like III Sides to Every Story), I'd still take VH3.

I've actually heard "Brave New World", and to say the least I was very unimpressed. I'm glad that you found a band that you like Ed6150, however I was not impressed by the album at all. I'd compare it (unfavorably) to a shitty Metallica album (RE: Load, ReLoad). I think Dickinson and whoever else writes the lyrics play Dungeons and Dragons a little too much.

They needed three guitar players for it? Whatever.

The rhythm section was pretty good, but c'mon you want to compare whoever those guys are to Mike and Al? I guess that's your prerogative.

As for Gary writing the worst lyrics ever, until you learn how to write a coherent sentence, and learn how to properly spell, I'm not really going to take that seriously.

Are we going back to doing the lame comparisions like we had to suffer through this spring?

Come on, at least try for something interesting that might bring some cool stuff to light. Let's think a little, rather than just wack off about 3.

Anyone that thinks Van Halen's last record was 1984 must still live at home and smoke pot in the attic. Grow up you fucks.

I don't live at my parents since I was 17, I NEVER took any drugs, I never lived in any house that had an attic, and at 6'3" I can assume I'm a grown up, thank you.

Van HALEN is: DAVE, Eddie, Mike, Alex. End of discussion!

    Now, EAT ME AND SMILE!!!

LOL Ed6150. I'm not going to take this thread or you too serious. We are know how you feel about VH3. Next you well be compairing VH3 to a pile of dog crap...and the dog crap will win. Try something like this.

Hey, GGB, chill out with the name-calling, man.

Everyone knows that 1984 wasn't VH's last album.

Calling people "fucks" is NOT the way to go about chilling, you know?

Now say you're sorry to Spanish Doctor and toss him a Hot-Pocket.
