Hey Madden, if you say that Van Halen isn't afraid to fail, and that they didn't give a shit, then as a fan you should just swallow what ever they do give us. With your mind set you want a great tour and a great albumn. What if in their minds that doesn't include DLR. VH produces what they like, if we like it then we buy it, if its shit we won't. I am cool with that. Keep trying, but for your and I or anyone else to demand the Van Halen must put out an albumn with DLR is stupid. Yes its what we want, but he is the artist, the performer, the business man. If he wants to make bad decisions then let him, but he owes you nothing. Sorry but you have done your business transaction with Eddie. He made an album you traded money for it. He went on tour did a show(good or bad) you traded money for it. But if he doesn't ever want to do another show or make another albumn then so be it. Especially if he thinks he does not have it in him. Maybe you owe it to Eddie to be patient with him. Jesus man, he didn't go out and do a bunch of favors for you. In fact some might see it another way. What a treat it has been to listen to such great music. I don't approve of much that Eddie has done lately. I love him and also have some very bitter feelings right now, but I sorry I don't think they owe me anything. Its not my place for me to make someone do something they don't want to. I want DLR back with VH. But if Eddie doesn't think that it will work than, don't do it. I don't want shit either. I payed my money to then for albumns and tours. My money wasn't an investment for the future. I bought some Captain Crunch today but I don't feel that the Captain owes me a good blood bath fight with the Soggies. I know we differ on this, but if you don't own WB stock then they don't owe you. I can see where you are coming from. You have spent tons of money and completely loyal, and if you don't get what most fans want then you will feel betrayed. I do to a point, but I just don't. I have ripped Ed on previous posts. I think he is alittle skitzo, personally but hey if there is no more VH then I will do what I have always done.
