VHND Prediction & Petition - EVERYONE SIGN IT ???

I don't know if it's been discussed, but on the VHND, a petition is there to sign in order for
a VH reunion to have some hope and maybe if the guys see it, who knows? [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

But do you get my point? It's like one of your friends going through a messy divorce several years ago from a wife he couldn't stand, and now you and some other friends petition him to get back together with her because they "look cute together"...

It makes no sense and it's none of our business, no matter how much we like VH w/Dave.

If need to organize a petition for anything, it's that VH needs to come out of their cave and get us a friggin' piece of news once in a while. They don't "owe" us this, but it's damn good PR if they would. And the sooner, the better, before their hardcore fanbase whittles away to nothing...

There has been at least 200 of these petitions in the last 2 years. If the first 199 did nothing, why would this one?.

If Eddie gave a shit about what the fans wanted, VDIII would have never been made. When the reunion finally happens, Eddie won't be doing it because we want it. He will be doing it to save his own ass. After all, it's gotta suck being the greatest living guitarist and being the punchline of jokes at the same time. What the fuck? I'll sign it though I doubt it'll make a difference. I mean isn't it unbelievable? I've been a VHLinks member since October 1999 and we have yet to discuss a new Van Halen album. Music just isn't the same without a vital Van Halen.

i get ur point scott. but it's a way for pissed off fans to vent in a way, make us feel like we're doing something, wehn, in the grand scheme of things, we are most likely not. i'm sure most people know the petition won't do squat, but it's something to do while the band has their heads in their asses.
