I have a friend in radio. He said that they were told by the WB rep. several months ago to start playing more Roth VH. He has also been told all the other rumors that have been flying around. It does make sense that they have been told to play more Roth VH to get the public ready.

Woody, thanks for that information dude. I don't know if it means a fucking thing. Your buddy could be playing that Roth/VH music for another year before we get any kind of fucking announcement. I think it's all bullshit. I don't believe a fucking thing until VH make their announcement. Their are just too fucking many rumors out their and I'm done fucking with em. Enough is enough. Y'know, ever since Gary left the band it has seemed to me like radio stations have really beefed up on Roth era VH. The station in my hometown sometimes plays 6 or 7 Roth VH tunes in a row for no apparent reason at all. And they're always good for at least 4 to 5 a day ever since the "silence" began. hmmmmm......................

Mtv stopped having a clue... in about 86. What a joke. The powers that be, suck at this point and time. Sorry peeps, I'm wrong. I love a good episode of the "Real World/Road rules/ no video playing crap TV station that it is." How in the fuck is a burly rock band gonna get their ass on that shitty station. I feel better now after saying all that.

Yeah, if anyone cares to remember, MTV at one time stood for Music Television. Everytime I flip it on, there isn't any music! Anyone remember back in the early years when there was hardly any commercials either? Or the weekly Saturday night concerts? Or the Lost Weekend With Van Halen contest? Am I showing my age?

BTW, I have noticed the rock station here in Hawaii playing Dave era stuff quite often lately. Just heard "Feel Your Love Tonight" the other day. Either something is up or it just goes to show you how timeless the music is when a station that plays mostly current "rock" (Bizkit, Rage, etc.) will play stuff more than 20 years old.

I remember a show on around 1982-1985 called Friday night videos, VH ruled baby............I guess that dates me doesn't it? You know what else will date me? I was already out of highschool when MTV debuted. And back then, they didn't even have commercials......I don't think I've seen anything but homeys in the hood on there since 1988..........Brap.........Christ.

Sheesh, I was just making a joke...didn't mean to start an anti-MTV rant-fest. God, everyone knows MTV sucks. Who needs them?

One of my best friends, who is always making fun of me for being such a VH nut, is leaving for college tomorrow, so today I went over to her house so we could hang out

and so we could lie on the floor and watch my VH compilation tapes, because she has a larger TV

when we watched the video for "Panama," which she'd never seen before......the part near the end when they have Eddie going crazy hanging by his feet from the rope thing that goes across the stage a couple times...and then they finally get it right and there he is with the guitar...seeing her laugh that hard was just PRICELESS!!
