VHND Press Update-Sammy's not EVER coming back in 2001

Sammy ends all rumors for good, he hasn't talked to anyone in VH, he's not coming back, he don't want to be in the band ever again, he would just jam at Cabo with Eddie Alex and Michael, if they apologize...

So, put Sammy rumors to rest once and for all. He don't want to be in Van Halen anymore. He's happy doing his own thing.

Bring on Classic Van Halen.

I'm sure Sammy means it, but what do we expect him to say, "geez, I sure wish I was back in Van Halen"? Every artist says that their latest project is their best, and they're happy right where they are. No matter how true it is, you never know about tomorrow with regards to these things.

Jordan said he'd never come back.
But I expect him at Allstar weekend in Washington at the MCI center.
In a Wizards uniform.

Well, Sammy has been very conciliatory toward Van Halen in recent times.

Now he seems upset again.

He's probably bothered that Van Halen didn't even consider taking him back.

I mean, if there's a huge Classic Van Halen reunion - it would only make sense for Sammy to try and act like he doesn't care.

He's not going to allow the Van Halen brothers to think he ever wanted the spot back. Or that he's bummed.

Though I think he already incriminated himself by saying he would tour with Roth if all sides could agree.

Though I do think Sammy is perfectly happy on his own. I just think that like Dave - he probably wishes Van Halen wouldn't go on without him. It diminishes his role.

although i loved to see sammy back with VH, i hope he has a little more diginity than dave and eddie. i liked what he said in the rolling stone interview, it is all about money(sad in my opinion).

C'mon guys...don't take so much from one interview where you don't know the exact questions asked....you just got quotes (I know this 'cause I'm the one who forwarded the article to Grant...)

The one I would take into consideration is Sammy on Rockline basically saying if his fans told him to go back he would do it....he even mentioned a "web vote"....hmmm...interesting...

Well all I know is he totally denies having been in contact with anyone in the VH camp.

"I have not talked to anyone in that camp. No one has contacted me, and I certainly wouldn't contact them because I feel that they owe me an apology," said Hagar during an interview last week with JAM! about the swelling Internet rumours that he might be headed back to Van Halen.

Remember in the interview that's posted on Grant's front page that there is a lot of things leading up to the "I'd do it" part. I would say that in all likelyhood at this point, it's not going to happen with Sam. Maybe down the road or something, but not right now.

Don't ....I repeat don't take any stock in what a Rock star say's at the immediate moment. When there career's,populairity, and cash flow are on the line they have a big change in heart. This goes double for Eddie. He's a contradiction in process!
