    Whose Van Halen?

    Whose Journey?

Isn't Black Sabbath the band that the old guy who says shit and fuck alot around his family on that MTV show used to sing for?
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Our local station ROCK 107 mentioned the 25 year anniversary and followed it up with Jamie's Cryin. I then thought 25 years. Holy Shit where did the time go. Job, Kids. Later, I was walking to get Lunch and I saw a former High School classmate and she goes, isn't it time for our 25th reunion. Holy Shit again. After work I go the doctors office and read the most recent issue of Rolling Stone. I look in the back and I check out the Billboards top 50 albums in the U.S. And the only three artists I see from the 70's are Rod Stewart, Elton John and Santana. I'm driving home and thinking, I really need some VH to feed my head and out of nowhere on Rock 107 "When it's Love" starts to play. It really made me think how long I've followed VH and how much I miss and many others miss them. It's funny because I finally broke down and bought Diver Down on CD. When you hear " Where have all the good times gone, it really hits home. Well, tonight this old bastard is going to play Basketball and on the way I'll listen to the Simmons Demos and enjoy life.
