I was reading a biography of VH at www.ubl.com and I found the last part interesting:
"Months later, fans were shocked to hear that the band parted ways with Warner Brothers, their label since 1979. The band blamed the label for promoting younger bands, while also admitting that they had not yet found Cherone's replacement and were no longer considering Roth."
I don't remember hearing the band say anything like that.
Here's the link to the entire biography if you want to read it: http://ubl.artistdirect.com/music/ar...tist=Van+Halen"It's so damn hot... milk was a bad choice." --Ron Burgundy, Anchorman

Sounds true though... That's part of the reason why the artists hate the labels and start their own in the first place... Lack of support.

I think what Dan was surprised at was the "no longer considering Roth" comment.
But I could be wrong.
