I was just browsing the MTV site and found an interview with Eddie at the recent movie premier where he was quoted as saying that that have 2 or 3 albums worth of material but no singer.
He also said that he still has no clue as to what Roth wants to do. And that the "band" writes new music every day.
Now for my comment on this:
Dave is unsure about what he wants?
Hmmmm,,, If I'm not mistaken, Dave has been chopping at the bit to be a part of the mighty Van Halen since I can remember when.
For him to drag his heals about this just doesn't seem right.
Either the "smokescreen" theory is right,
OR
Dave must now have some sort of brain disorder.
If the latter is true,
Come On Dave!
Give Ed a call,
He's waiting and seemingly willing to make it work.
This is just what you want Dave, take the ball and run with it.
And if they do have alot of new shit ready to go,
once the ball does begin to roll, there will be no stopping it.
Hopefully they will release albums ala the early days, every year or so.
