I listened to it earlier - Gary manages to talk about VH for 10 minutes without really saying anything. He said he encouraged the brothers to do a reunion tour with Roth while he was still in the band - and he called Dave out over the VM quote

Yet again he shows he's a cool guy, even though VH totally sucked with him in the band. TOJ blows VH3 away from the sampler tracks I've heard.

Nope, it was recorded on Saturday - they talk about the Hagar/Roth press conference for one thing.

Nooo it was actually recorded friday.. Well, dammit technically saturday lol.. It was on friday night rocks thou.. And gary acted as if, he did indeed wanna take part in the tour, but i guess it didn't happen.. My sister met gary at the Kiss convention the next day, and she thought he was very very down to earth, and cool.. Really nice to people in general, and was just talking.. Also, she brought home an autograph for me, which was pretty kewl. He didn't really like the vh3 cd, it was eddie's deal.. And they were rushed to get the cd out.. But my sister was expecting him to be kinda "gay" as we all expect, and she happend to see the opposite, and saw that he was pretty damn kewl.. And the TOJ sampler kicks ass.. I would prefer an extreme disc, but this is pretty damn good.. But,from gary's talks.. They are all still friends, and i could see a new extreme cd sometime in the future..

3/4 of Extreme is in TOJ, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Nuno as a guest on one of the TOJ songs.

Now that would be COOL.

The most interesting part of the interview to me is that Gary was asked by VH if he wanted to do any Extreme songs on the VH III tour, and he said no. I never heard that before, I was hoping they played Get The Funk Out.
Right Now you're reading my post!

MotherFUCKER! Damn, that fucking worthless real audio SHIT! I just knew before I even clicked on the fucking link that it was gonna be that piece of shit real audio and not windows media player. Damn it!
"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"There is no heir to the throne of Eddie Van Halen. Nobody sits on that throne. Nobody takes that throne. Here's why it's different with Eddie: when a great guitar player passes, you just move on to another, right? But in this case, Eddie wasn't just a 'guitar player'. We're talking about a guy who changed culture and how we play guitar. He was like an alien coming in and fucking everything up so much that even the legends beforehand are like, 'Okay .. what is happening here? What sorcery is this?'" -Nuno Bettencourt

Howz about a transcript?
Q: Recording the album took so long your Australian tour last year was cancelled. What was it like in the studio? There's a history of tension between you and Eddie Van Halen...

DLR: It was like a stand off in a Chuck Norris movie. We each had the laser dot on everybody's forehead waiting for the other guy to blink. Except for Wolfie, he had a Super Soaker ...
