Oh yeah, some would say I am speculating and others would agree with me, VH is in the cooler for a long, long time, if not completely finished. I am not saying this outta, "Oh, woe is us" at all. All that remains of VH is Ed and Alex. Mike is gone and you can quote me on that. Do you really think Ed and Alex like that Mike is working and touring with Sammy? Hell no! I remember Sammy hitting it on the head when he left/was fired from VH, "When they had Roth recording some new tunes with them it was like someone being married, but sleeping with a former girlfriend..." I can assure you that Ed is flaming over this one.

Facts are facts, as they have been hashed over many times here and on other boards:

VH has no lead singer
VH has no manager
VH has no tour manager
VH has not released any new material since '98
VH has not toures since '98
VH's bassist is working with their former lead singer and says, "Also, this does NOT mean I'm leaving Van Halen, so don't get your panties in a wad! Sammy asked me to take part in this project and I decided to go for it while VH is on a
little break. It's definitely gonna rock!"

Ed said several months back that once the lawyers got involved it went south. Well, VH is completely, 100% their own entity, their own business now so what is holding up a reunion? Roth is. Roth is getting some payback for '96. Roth is out their having fun, entertaining and rocking while VH has been reduced to 2, sitting at home wondering why they were such pricks to their former lead singers.

I really do believe that VH has split and probably forever. It is a little curious to me that Mike went out and started his own Website. Seriously, he could have had his own site within VH's site, but does not. That strikes me as peculiar. On top of that, it has been confirmed recently that he is working with Sammy again, which is even more odd. Ok, so some of this is speculation, but let's be practical here, and even though sometimes things are not how they look, this is an exception. There are too many negatives, but most of us don't want to admit it.

I agree with you. I think the band is definitely over right now. Eddie is all alone (with his brother) wondering how he screwed everything up. Let me just say after '96 I knew that his ego was going to do him some damage, but I never envisioned that he would be left completely alone.

Honestly, the guy really deserves it. Nobody is working with him right now. He really screwed it all up. He got too much power, it got to his head...and now even Mikey is happy making music with someone else. Even Dave doesn't seem interested anymore. That must have been a bad blow-up ending their attempt at a reunion last year ("we don't like each other"- DLR, 2001). Well, that's that. If only the few fucking assholes left in the VH camp had the guts to admit that they've failed and it's all over. I guess they can't even end it right.

I'm starting to not care at all anymore. Another great band gone. Another one bites the dust.

Danniels did a lot of damage, but put the initial blame where it belongs. Eddie & Alex were dumb enough to buy his bullshit. Sammy warned them he was a bastard. No doubt Dave did as well. They ignored the warnings.

As far as MA having his own website...Both van-halen.com and madanthonycafe.com are run by Brad $tark$, so they're sort of connected.

I think that MA is still technically part of Van Halen, but it makes no difference as they are cooked.
