I'd like to have some news about the great guitarist, just because I saw on a lot of forums the rumor he just died. Can someone please deny it?

if this rumour is true that would make two guitarists that played for dlr that passed away. Thats a sad thought. If this is true even that would make Dlr sad. 3

This rumour has been running wild for the past 24 hrs on a number of BB's including the Metallica and Megadeth ones.

I wont believe it till an official source breaks the news. One can only pray that it isnt true!

I just did a couple of quick searches, but couldn't find anything. I certainly hope it's just a rumor. He's a wonderfully talented musician.

This certainly wouldn't be the first time this rumour has circulated. I'm not going to put anything into it. I've yet to see one thing anywhere that says it is true. Nothing...nada...

So...let's let this one roll, until we get some sort of announcement...

Sounds kind of familiar...doesn't it?

WHat a wonderfully gifted musician, he was an original guitarist, he didn't try to take the place of Eddie Van Halen like most of the other DLR guitar players, he didn't try to sound like Steve Vai, he did his own shit!

A Little Ain't Enough was very versatile and has alot of great music, now Jason is plagued with ALS, and rumors are spreading everywhere from here to Alaska and the question is...

Is this all true??

Will he be remembered??

His biggest asset is the versatility that he showed us on ALAE. He had his Eddie moments...and his Vai moments...but you balled it up together into a complete package. No, I'm not saying he was a combination of both guitarists, buy he had the ability to play both styles, and incorporated them into his play. I mean, the guy had the ability to be one of the greats.

I talked with Sarge about it yesterday and he told me he would email Amy Becker. If Sarge gets something he will update the DLRArmy main page presto you can be sure of that.

Look gang...we e-mailed amy, and have yet to hear a reply at 11:42 ET. Keep checking out the front page of the Army for an update once she does return the e-mail. This is one rumour that I want to put to bed as quickly as possible.

I agree with Pojo, Jason was awesome on A Little Ain't Enough. And he had a LOT of potential! I really hope this rumour is false.

Actually I thought he had died after reading Dave's book! In it Dave said that "he got took down way too early in the game." But I later understood what he meant.
