...excuse me for being a late bloomer here....Sam writes a book.....was never released because he has issues with the author....how did chapter 19 & 20 leak out onto the internet ?....I mean this stuff is legit right ?.....deep stuff

Very interesting stuff. Maybe I live under a rock, but I had no idea that tensions had been brewing for so long in the band. Just out of curiosity, when was the book written?

It was written soon after the break-up of Sam and VH. Sour grapes perhaps? Notice both chapters are full of money issues.

hehe..can you imagine if Sam got his way and Alex started playing dance beats! Maybe Sam wanted to dabble in rapping..haha!!

These are must-reads for any VH fan. After finishing "Crazy From The Heat" and reading these two Sam chapters, I see the whole "situation" much more clearly.

Yeah, interesting reading for sure. Just remember, though, that these guys DO have agendas and what we get from Sammy is sammy's side of the story. From Dave we are getting HIS side of the story, etc. etc. So it's difficult if not impossible to say how accurate these accounts are. But interesting reading, nonetheless.

Sammy went to court to prevent the book from being published didn't he?

Does anyone know the story behind this? The book was obviously written by a third party and surely Sam must have voluntarily participated in some sort of interview process because so much of the story is told using his direct quotes.

Why would Sammy give this author all of these comments so he could write a book and then go to court to block its release? Who was his lawsuit filed against? An author or a publishing company?

Maybe he didn't want the world to know about his divorce? Or that publication of the book would render a reunion between VH and himself totally impossible?

The book seems to me, to be written in such a way that suggests Sam was initially co-operative. I wonder why he changed his mind...
