NEWS: VH Nominated in "Artist of the Year/Rock Radio" - 2005 Radio Music Awards

2005 RADIO MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

BURBANK -- November 3, 2005 - The 2005 Radio Music Award nominees for best artists and songs of the year in mainstream, urban and rhythmic, alternative and active rock, rock, adult hit and country music as determined by Mediabase, the medium's leading source for tracking airplay, were announced today. The winners of each category will be announced during the show's live broadcast on Monday, December 19 from Las Vegas (9-11 p.m. ET).

Thought of by the music industry as the Golden Globes of music award shows because of its casual party-style, this year promises to be even bigger than last. In past years, the show has included many of the top names in music including Elton John, Destiny's Child, Tim McGraw, Nelly, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson and many more.

Not sure, but when the party-favors probably include Tott's Champange and a crock-pot full of "Little Smokey's", a chance of anybody from the band, besides a roadie, would show up to represent. And live broadcast? On what??

Uh, how can you have artist of the year in a year where the band doesn't exist? Led Zep is on the list. All the members arent even alive. Its a stupid award. Like what if VH wins? Do you think they will show up to accept the award?
