I hope I am not to off base with this, but How can a man have a stage all done up in CAbo Wabo decore, bottles, sand on the stage, but then finish the show with a sad only vocal chant of 30 seconds of the song Cabo Wabo. I was having fun till the very end. One Song encore with a terible chant of Cabo Wabo.. I was left very disappointed. He is filming a DVD video and an internet broadcast there. That was cool. He also put a Detroit Redwings jersey on in Chicago then started to sing "A Deeper Kind Of Love" The crowd including myself started to chant Detroit Sucks till he took it off and apologized. The jersey did Have His name on it but come on. I would expect Detroit to do the same thing.
Over all I was left "blue balled". Even though he san Finish What You started.

So Sammy was doing VH songs in his set? I don't know if I like the way they (DLR too) do old VH songs in a performance supporting a solo record. Dave did a whole set full of Classic VH last year (but as it turns out I'm sure he was trying to make a point to the VH boys). I think if its a concert showcasing the Solo individual they should just stick to solo songs. It kinda makes them look like they want to be back in VH and it makes them seem a bit dry, I think anyway.

What do you mean vocal chant? He was just chanting Cabo Wabo over and over???? If so, boy that's weird. I might need to get my tickets refunded for my show in Philly whenever that is(postponed).

So Sammy wore a Red Wings Jersey that's awesome! I don't think that they should have booed him for that.
Yo Romeo, Sammy isn't doing his whole show on VH like Dave practically did.
Besides he did write the lyrics to them and he sung them on the albums.
I think he definately should sing a bunch of them.

Well can't speak for the rest of the peeps would attended his shows, but the one I saw was fucking burly as hell. It was like one big party, and Sammy was the house band someone hired. Hell he was pickin' people out of the crowd to get up on stage and hang with the band. Once they got on stage, they didn't have to leave. Man what a laid back killer show. And oh yeah, Sammy and the band kicked some "serious ass ass." Out.

Achievements:
Was Sammy wearing the Detroit jersey because he lost a bet or something? Why would he be wearing a Red Wings jersey in Chicago? He must have known he'd get boo-ed for that. It seems to me that Sammy must have done it in jest to rile the fans up a bit.

No some hot blonde gave it to him. It had his name on it, plus it was signed by him. And the song CABO, he just started to say the lyrics, no music no nothing and it was just the chorus, it was fucking wierd plus that is the song my wife loves most of all. I had to hear her bitch for hours. He is using the same stage aslast year with the people on stage. Ithought that was still cool. He did only about 4 VH songs. It seems to me that he is really trying to phase out VH. He played Top of the World, Why can't This be love, Finish What you Started, the Cabo talk, I think one other while I was pissing and beering. His oncore consisted of Marching to Mars where he had everyone on stage Conga Line around and the Cabo chant. I love when he talks during a show, but he can't shut up and play. Just when you where getting worked up he would stop and start talking for 10 minutes. I liked the show sorta, but it just ain't VH thats for sure.

I agree with most of what was said, although overall it was a good show. I was hoping to hear "Tropic Of Capricorn" as an encore. Oh well.

Sounds like a GREAT name for a live recording
I was there too, and I could not believe how loud and long the BOOs continued during a song he said meant a lot to him! To top it off that happened during the filming of a concert for DVD! .
I think the best song of the night was "Heavy Metal"
