Surprised they were still doing this as much in 2013. Most concert filming had gotten a little better by then.

Everyone got Epilepsy from Metallica Live Shit "San Diego 1992" VHS/DVD. Every shot is quick cut, quick cut, quick cut....lol.... Wayne Isham directing....

Can’t stand that shit. For a live show recording, let it breathe. Make the person feel like they are there….and not watching MTV.

Yes, I love the "full stage" shots. That reminds me of actually being at a concert and experiencing it. At least, back when I went to concerts before the advent of giant video screens around the stage...

Sometimes, when a fan makes a video, even using their zoom, but, their seat is far enough away, that the full stage shot is as zoomed as they can get... I like that. I'm thinking of Led Zeppelin 2007 and 1980 and before...

But, honestly, when it comes to CVH v. 2 or VanHagar... a nice tight shot of EVH, with Alex in the background, would be an optimum way for me to view the concert.

I heard that Phil Robertson did the eulogy at Dustys funeral. Yeah the duck call multi millionare who was the qb at Louisiana Tech a thousand years ago and Terry Bradshaw was his backup. I like the guy and his brother. Now some of his kids are pretty spoiled.

Mid-70's ZZ rivalled Cream in their ferocity and sheer reckless abandon.

What a magnificent noise they made. Billy's guitar sound was just God-like during this period.

The next time a guitar sounded like that on a stage, live, it was a little Dutch boy doing the pluckin'.

You goddamn right. I've seen ZZ more than any band. If a person doesn't like ZZ, they can fuck off to wherever they came from.

You load up the truck, beer is flowing, driving down the back roads of Texas and ZZ is playing, it's nothing but a great time. And in the back pocket is some Van Halen for a tasty treat.

My other Texas brothers and sisters on this site will vouch for this. It's kind of a law here. "where yall headin' at?" "Don't know, find us a pit and eat I reckon." Top playin' "You god damn they are!" Out.
