Just a sad thought

Between innings of the World Series, I was flipping to the 'United We Stand' concert on ABC. The first time I turned to it, I got to see Aerosmith performing. As I watched them, a depressed feeling came over me. I kept thinking that Van Halen should have been on stage as well. Whether you like Aerosmith or not, they are still alive and kicking. They keep putting out albums, going on tour, and doing benefit shows. Van Halen used to be a band that did those things. Whether it was DLR, Sammy or even Gary, Van Halen was out there in the public eye. I'm disappointed that the band has choosen to be silent and out of the public but that is their choice. It was just very sad to see other bands in their spotlight.

Then I turned back to the World Series and watched the Yankees come back again. Then, I felt better. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Yankees suck!!! They got extremely lucky the last 2 games. The D-backs should have had this series already wrapped up. I think the Yankees have drawn from the goodluck well one too many times. Their well is gonna come up dry in Arizona.

I can't help thinking lately that I wish Aerosmith was as cool as VH used to be. Does that mean I've given up on VH, or does it mean VH has given up on us?
