Lars on VH1 last night...........

he was talking about another guitar player on one of the bands on the VH1 top 100 hard rock bands and said something like "If you weren't influenced by guys like Edward Van Halen doing his (acts like he's playing guitar really fast) then you were into this guy's style.

Sorry I wasn't paying very close attention, but did anyone else see that?

Yeah, I saw that on the VH1 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock on Monday night. I barely heard him but he said something about how a lot of players were influenced by EVH.

I did see that episode and it sounded like Lars was given Ed the thumbs up.
They also had Kirk Hammett on the show too. Why didn't he comment on Ed since he's a guitarist too?

........yea , i took that as a slur too . ALL he does is make a ass out of himself every time he is on camera . LARS got himself in a big jackpot , and he is trying to pull it all off by being mr spit & vineger. all he is doing is showing how non- musical he really is.......(p.s) lay off the bottle lars !
