If Van Halen got back together with Dave, what do you think the guys should wear?

Do they have to tone down the stripes, satin, leather, candy-strip socks, muscle shirts...in other words how does a 50-year old VH present itself in regards to fashion?

I don't care if they all wear ass-less chaps with cast iron strap-ons and pink flamingo feathers if they're out there (with Dave or Sam) playing music. Enough with the waiting and conjecture....if there's three albums worth of music, get your asses in gear and get it out there before there's no one there to buy and listen to it.

The properly dressed Van Halen would be sporting the highly fashionable ragged jeans, a strikingly bold t-shirt with some sort of objectionable words printed on it, a blue sport coat and cowboy boots to top off the ensomble...

Well that's the opinion of an old cogger that enjoyed them as an adult in the 70's...

Today's younger fan prefers their rock stars to be more sharply dressed so as not to confuse them with Larry who lives behind the dumpster at 7/11...

For example... instead of torn jeans today's Van Halen fan prefers a good pair of Botony 500 Tri-Blend Dress Slacks such as:

Couple that with a nice... Polo shirt and some sporty shoes...

And now we have the sharp dressed Van Halen of the 21st century...

Ed should wear the striped overalls. Dave should wear only a red scarf. Alex should wear that shiny jacket thing from the "Jump" video. Mikey should wear a bass, and lot of banners and things that people throw up on stage.
