Now that Danniels is out - Who's in?

I just want to say Ford had a great post on the whole Ray Danniels thing - and it makes me want to kick that motherfuckers ass for destroying Van Halen's momentum!!!

But now that Danniels is out, who the heck is their manager? This piece of the puzzle will be critical in the relations between Roth and the other 3 guys - and could possibly determine wheter this is just another reunion tour or a new beginning for the greatest rock band ever.

Guys and gals are we 100 % sure Daniels is out? Was there an article in the papers or on the net stating this. I haven't seen one at all. Sure Sherman said he was out but we are not 100 % sure of Sherman either. If someone can prove me wrong, more power to them. I sure as hell hope he was ousted.

There hasn't been an official announcement of Danniels being out, but if he was still their manager, there would be no need for the legal tieups that are keeping Cherone and the band silent about everything that's happenned since November.

No, the Mike interview was not proven to be BS, nor was it really proven altogether (I think).

Rest assured, Ray is indeed gone. After making VH decend down into nothingness, I'm sure the band knew that he had to go. And since Ray is no longer Al's brother in law (Al separated from his longtime wife, Ray's sister.), he doesn't hold any 'family tie' to VH either.

the Mike Anthony interview was on the vhnd and then it was mysteriously pulled the next day. I assume it was because of legal shit. Looked like a legit article to me. Damn I wish I would've saved that.

It's funny that the only time Mikey ever opens his mouth (except for background vocals) it's to talk to some obscure Dutch magazine. Besides, if I remember correctly, the alleged interview claimed they were talking to Sammy as well. Sammy has since said that he has had no communication with the band since September 1996 at the funeral of their lawyer's wife.

To be honest with you, I don't have a fucking clue! But, I know who VH should get to manage them. BOBBY KNIGHT! They need this hardass to crack the fucking whip! Knight may be a ruthless prick. But, the guy knows how to motivate. With Roth back in the band the tension level has gotta be pretty high right now. Imagine Knight in their also. You could cut the tension with a knife. As good as VH is, they need to be pushed like never before. This is Van Halen's one last shot at the big time. They need a great record. I truely believe Bobby Knight could light a spark underneath these guys asses! And if one of the guys got out of line. Say Dave starts cocking off to Ed. Bobby would grab Dave in the choke hold and say, "shut your fucking pie hole, and sing fucker sing". Or, if Ed lights up a cig. Bob would say,"Put that out or I'm gonna put my foot in your mouth!" They need structure and Bobby Knight is the right guy for the job.
