Bad Steve Martin Movie/DLR song?

I just remembered something that I've wanted to ask these forums for along time. Does anyone remember a really bad movie from the early to mid 90's starring Steve Martin as a drill seargant or something in the military? I remember it coming on HBO and the only redeeming thing about the movie is that it did have a song from Dave. It sounded like it was from the YFLM sessions with Nile Rodgers. I remember the song was either big band or funky. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

I think the movie mighta been 'sgt bilko' and the song would have been 'Bad Habits'

I dunno a lot about the origions of the song, although I do remember a guy called Billy Fields had a hit down here with it in the very early 80's. Wether he wrote it or not I don't know.

I actually saw Sgt. Bilko in the theater when it came out. The movie wasn't that bad, it wasn't great, but it was entertaining. Not worth eight dollars for a ticket though. But anyway, that song "Bad Habit" kind of sounds like "Don't Piss Me Off'" from the best of CD. It had a bluesy feel. It wasn't DLR's finest solo song, but it was ok.

Yeah Sgt. Bilko wasn't bad movie...there were some funny moments. Actualy I love Steve Martin!
