They played Right Now in the Staples Center during the NBA finals this year as well. It probably means nothing more than a few well placed VH fans, but it's cool nonetheless.

Sorry, just saw the new "location" thing under people's names. I'm guessing Chicago now?

Every time Tino Martinez of the Yankees comes to plate at Yankee Stadium they play VH.
I have heard everything from Hot for Teacher, to Unchained, Poundcake etc.
The best is when they make a pitching change, then I get to hear the whole song.
"Right Now" seems to be an NBA favorite. I have heard that at several games.

wells is pretty friendly with ed & val.
he was sidestage on the 3 tour when it was in the nyc area. (pnc bank arts center, to be specific)
by the way, yankee stadium isn't the only place that plays VH for players.
it's been going on at Shea for years, especially for Piazza. back in the 80s, the tv broadcast would use bits of the song "5150" for commercial breaks. i always loved that!
how about the rest of you guys around the country -- is VH blasted in other ballparks/sports arenas????

Gotta love Tino.
They play a lot of VH at Yankee Stadium. Along with the above titled songs, I've also heard Jump, and ATBL.
The batters get to pick what music gets played as they walk to the plate.
So maybe this means Tino's a VH fan? He was cool to begin with.
But being a VH fan would him that much cooler.
David Wells, who used to pitch for the Yankees, was a huge VH fan. He used to wear a cap with the VH logo during post-game interviews.

I finally watched that all the way through. Frankly, I buy it. I think he's telling the truth. Watched a follow up film fully produced with better quality from an interview done later in his life...
