Possible Sammy interview

The morning DJ for 98.9 The Rock in Kansas City wants to line up an interview with Sammy this week in connection with a Cabo Wabo concert give-away. I just e-mailed the DJ begging him to ask about the alleged reunion with VH. This same DJ had a long radio interview with DLR right before he arrived in KC in June. At that time DLR said there would be no reunion between him and VH in 2001, but maybe they'd hook up in the future. If I hear anything about VH from Sammy's OWN MOUTH, I will post it here. I should have asked her that same question this morning. I called her and chatted for awhile. I also forgot that Sammy is in Chi-town tonight with some of our Linker pals then he comes down here to Missouri manana for his "homecoming" show in STL. It's always a "homecoming" atmosphere when he shows up though...I bet Sammy could run for mayor of STL and have a respectable "write in" campaign! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Hey Dan Halen I might be wrong and Cabo can correct me, but I think it's because KSHE stuck by Sammy and has played everything he has put out. From Montrose to today. I have seen VH three times in St. Louis with Sammy and solo Sammy twice and its unreal. Sammy is playing to about three to four thousand people on tour and when he hits St. Louis its twenty thousand. Its something you gotta see to believe.

It is true that KSHE and STL with Sammy has been a marriage for as long as this KSHE listener can remember.

If you will remember back in like 82 or so, Sammy did a live show on MTV at the old arena. 3 Lock Box tour.

Sammy will play to about 14 thousand tonight at the Riverport. I will be in attendance Tonight, and if you all want , Tommorrow or Tonight I can let you all know how it went.

Its a guys night out, and who knows where we might end up or what time I will get home. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Hey 79...let us know, man!! I wish I could have been there for that EVENT!! It really is an event when SH plays St. Louis. Sure he only does 3-6k when he plays other towns, but if you read 79th's response to why STL loves Sammy, that is it in a nutshell.

STL recognized something way before anyone else and has stuck by him ever since...just like he's done for them.
