I wonder if van halen or wb might just put out a
best of volume # 2 for the holidays ? i know it has been mentioned there won't be a bost of # 2. but that could change as well. i just want to hear some new music from van halen.

We would have heard something about it by now. If we haven't heard anything and neither has record stores or the press, nothing is happening. It's too late to get the ball rolling now. Warner Bros. would not be able to keep it a secret once the manufacturing started and the stores got wind of it.

does WB have the current rights to these songs? could they just put something out, or is there some sort of process where they band is involved? i know the music business is screwed up, but i don't know how the rights would shake out in this scenario?
