And why is it that Mikey Anthony is in the spotlight so often these days? Where the hell has

Rehabbing his neck, look at how long it took (and I'm using a wrestler right now for this example) Stone Cold Steve Austin to return. Almost a whole year. And wrestlers usually come back before fully healed so they can stay on top in name recognition.

My guess on Mikey in the spotlight, is because he might be the only one of the 3, healthy enough to do anything ....

Alex is living in a cave somewhere trying to get his neck better (though Brad did say he was fine) , Ed is being a Dad and still overcoming his cancer scare and possible other health issues (drinking, drugs, smoking , etc.).

Just a guess.

Let's see...

Eddie is hiding in the closet with a vaccuum cleaner trying to smoke without Val finding him (since he's officially a goner if she does).

Al is trying to promote the story that he is a myth like bigfoot or nessie to avoid the creditors from his past wives.

Dave is in the bathroom in front of the mirror with Hair in a Can trying to spray it just right since he has a big concert coming up and he figures since he plays all Van Halen he should look like he did in '84.

Sammy would probably rather be in the studio, but it's his day to take care of the baby, and those diapers wait for no one!

Gary is watching VH1's Pop Up '80s and pretending his work with Extreme is still current and relevant. His financial consultant still isn't speaking with him because of Gary not keeping the sure money of Van Halen.

Mike is out giving interviews left and right, knowing full well that everything he says is wrong and will only serve to put more pressure on the band to say something. If music won't motivate Eddie anymore, perhaps a little media backlash will.
