Found it on KaZaa its under Steve Lukather Merry Axemas Vol2, they have it down as Steve Lukather, but its a no-brainer that it is Ed, you can tell by the sound, the plaiying and his choice of notes, very melodic and some cool rythym playing, drums aren't bad either, some double kick work on it, but good suff Ed.. but it´s strange, balance and some of lukathers work around 94 sounds very similare..."Who are you tryin' to get crazy with, ese? merry axemas is recorded in 1994 and released in 1998...</font>[/QUOTE]That is NOT Edward Van Halen. It's not even the right album Eddie is to be featured on.
Actually here is a quote from Steve's website regarding the release Eddie will be featured on:
July 2002 ( News )
In June Lukather finished the recordings for the Xmas covers album.
"The album called Santamental will be released later this year. It will also feature a new guest guitar spot from Eddie Van Halen."
Besides the track that littleguitars99 is refering to is on the album called (Various artists - Merry Axemas )
This is NOT the Santamental album, yet!
