I dropped in a couple months ago and some of you were kind enough to answer some questions I had about Van Halen and David Lee Roth and the Hot For Teacher car. Now I'm back to tell you the car is about to be auctioned off on Dave's "Everybody Wants Some" auction site. The auction starts Nov 1st. I have set up an information site about the car and have included some screen captures of the video you might be interested in. The DLRArmy site and VHND are both promoting the sale on their sites. Brett was going to here too but evidently the guy thinks his wedding is more important than my car sale. Go Figure! Anyway drop on over to http://www.mcsi.net/fayepek and take a look at the pictures and information. It might be just crumbs for information starved fans.... but its SOMETHING!

Damn, and I just bought a car. Oh well, that bad boy probably wouldn't be very good for the minus 30 winters we get here in Edmonton.

Yeah wish I could afford to keep it! Its a cool ride. I figure it will be the VH/DLR fans who pay most attention but the hot rod folks who do the bidding. It's been a lot of fun during the short time we've had it though.

I'm not going to mention how much it was appraised for until after the auction, but its more money than I have ever had at one time before. Of course thats not saying a whole heck of a lot.. I'm po folk.

My husband was playing cards. A game called Let Em Ride. For a month every time anyone got a jackpot they got their name put in a pot. They drew 5 finalists from the pot. Each finalist got a key to try to open a chest. His key opened it! A guy offered him $35,000 before he got out of the casino. I would have missed a lot of fun if he had taken that offer! Its been a ball learning about the band.. and Dave.. and hot rods.. and online auctions.. I'm going to miss it when its all done...
