Just what we needed: after 6 years on this site seeing the Sam vs Dave wars, a new division has appeared. Sam-heads against Ed-heads.
Like we needed an even more fractured VH fanbase.
So what's next, Al vs Sam?

How about a little UNITY?

Since I've expressed my opinion concerning this....just for the record, I'm not "against" Sam, I'm just discouraged by his current behavior. I'm also discouraged by the reported state of Eddie. I'd love to see them patch things up and record/tour again. Love to see them record/tour w/DLR as well.

I'm all for unity, but how do we go about it? Should we get in a circle and hug our neighbor to the right?

Every one has an opinion, and they obviously differ. It's hard to be positive given the negative circumstances.

But even when you have a touring Van Halen, there is still an unhappy faction. I'm a pretty optimistic person, but I kind of have my doubts of a completely unified VH fanbase. It is a nice thought.

I disagree. Sure, I'd love to see Dave back in the VH fold. But if it doesn't happen, VH should p/u where they left off with Gary. 98 was a bad ass time to see VH live!!

Yup, a lot of Rothtards who never saw Dave VH live liked the '98 tour. Five CVH era songs per set list sure stroked a lot of egos.

Well to be honest. the Roth Army is right for saying this site has a pro-Sammy slant to it. I am an Ed fan and could care less who sings in the band. However from what I read here, you would think that Sammy is the one who made Van Halen successful.

I am getting tired of hearing on how great of a person Sammy is and actually been getting more enjoyment out of the Roth Army as of late. At least the music they defend really is the defining point of Van Halen. Well at least IMO it is.

Sounds like you've made up your mind then. If you're tired of hearing about Sam, then the Army is tailor-made for ya. However if you're an Ed fan when it comes down to it, they bash him there too. It is Dave that does no wrong at the Army.
